From downloading the ForeverRoute addon to following your first route, this guide covers the essentials. The desktop Control Center is still in private testing.

Four steps to begin

1. Download the addon
Get the current published ForeverRoute beta from CurseForge. Only the published build is publicly supported; unreleased Planner V4 changes are internal tests.
2. Install it into WoW Forever
If you install manually, unzip ForeverRoute into your WoW Forever client's Interface\AddOns folder, ensuring the inner folder contains the .toc file and Lua scripts. Do not nest extra ZIP folders. Restart or reload the game and enable the addon at character selection.
3. Select your route
In game, open ForeverRoute and select a matching faction, race/class and level section. Follow the current objective, quest progress and map hints. If a quest isn't available yet, report the QID instead of trusting an unrelated Vanilla location.
4. Share feedback
Send reproducible issues with QID, zone, character level and screenshot to GitHub Issues. For route discussions and leveling tips, use the community forum.

Control Center (after release)

Importing a character and building a route
After the Windows program's verified release, install the app and choose English, Czech or German. Use My Profiles → Import From WoW from a saved snapshot, review the import summary, then use the route builder and export a tested route. Character import and automatic quest updates are under CC18 repair and are not yet public features.
Why does Update Database say the server is not configured?
The official signed quest update server is not live. The placeholder address is intentionally blocked. A future release will provide a verified signed update channel; until then, do not download untrusted Lua files or pretend the sync succeeded.
